With the new year and a new semester, comes a strong urge to list resolutions. Odds are “get fit” or “get healthy” are the top of most peoples’ lists. This year, forego the resolutions and set some obtainable wellness goals.
With a large selection of top-tier equipment, activities and services at the Eccles Student Life Center, Campus Recreation Services offers a dynamic and welcoming environment to meet all of your fitness and wellness goals.
One of the most popular, and fun activities are Group Fitness Classes. The upbeat instructors will guide you through a collection of cardio, mind/body, dance and strength/conditioning classes in four beautiful fitness studios. The wide variety of classes include BodyPump, Barre, Cycling, Zumba, many variations of Yoga, Pilates, HIIT, TRX and Aqua Fit.
With such a broad range of classes with different goals, deciding which classes to attend can be a challenge. To help you choose the best classes for your new fitness plan, all classes are free during FREE WEEK.
FREE WEEK runs from Jan. 9-15; classes are open to all Campus Recreation Services members or current University of Utah students with a valid UCard. Anyone eligible to purchase a membership may access FREE WEEK classes with a $6 guest fee per visit.
Full semester Group Fitness Classes begin immediately after FREE WEEK and run from Jan. 17-April 30; class fees range from $20-$58 for the semester. For a complete list of classes and fees as well as easy online registration, visit campusrec.utah.edu.
