Transportation from parking lots to classroom buildings during finals week just got a little easier for students thanks to Commuter Services, Auxiliary Services and President Watkins.
After connecting with students about their experiences and ideas last year at Pizza with the President, it was clear that improved transportation efforts would help students during this stressful time.
Students parking the Stadium, Guardsman Way and Institute parking lots can look for minivans with “Courtesy Vehicle” decals from Auxiliary Services, available to take students anywhere they need to go on campus.
All campus shuttles will be running on their normal schedules. Signs will be posted in lots letting commuters know when they’re full and directional signs will offer alternate parking locations. Parking Ambassadors will also be on-site to help direct students, distribute maps and parking information.
To make this week even sweeter; Commuter Services will serve pastries, hot chocolate and coffee from Monday, Dec. 10 through Thursday, Dec. 13, between 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Look for the tents at the following three locations:
- Stadium lot
- Central Garage
- Merrill Engineering
Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. No other lot accommodations will be available and permits will be required.
