HAZARD WARNING SIGNAGE FOR LABORATORY SPACE
It is essential to have up to date “Hazard Warning” signage for a laboratory space. These signs inform anyone entering into the space, especially first responders, what hazards are present and who to contact for additional information.
“Hazard Warning” signs must be reviewed annually and updated when any of the following take place:
- A change in process within the lab changes the hazards present
- Changes in emergency contact information occur
- Changes to phone numbers, office locations, departments, etc.
