Every year Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety partners with ASUU, UUPD and Facility Operations to conduct a survey of lighting across campus.

This annual event is known as the “Walk After Dark.” During this event groups of individuals from various organizations walk every sidewalk on campus to survey lighting levels, both actual and perceived, specifically but also to look for other safety issues related to travel across campus at night.

This year the event will be held on Oct. 9 beginning around 6:45 p.m. We invite individuals who would like to participate to register by completing the registration form found here.
