Some campus housing facilities are without water, and South Medical Drive is closed due to a water main break this morning.

Residents of the Medical Towers (701 and 701) and the north and south Medical Plaza Townhouses are without water. Crews are working to address the issue and identify alternative options for residents, who can expect more information later today.

South Medical Drive is closed and may be closed for several days. Police are redirecting traffic. Deliveries to surrounding buildings will be impacted, but police are working to develop alternative options.

Facilities Management crews are on-site evaluating the situation. They shut off the water almost immediately, preventing potential water damage to nearby facilities. They anticipate having more information to share with campus this afternoon.
