On Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, at the University Campus Store and the University Campus Store Health in HSEB, all Apple products will be available tax-free for University of Utah faculty and staff, with select items at an additional 8 percent off of already-reduced prices. This biannual one-day event is exclusive to University of Utah faculty and staff and is the best opportunity to save on Apple products, whether for personal or educational use, all year.

In addition to tax-free pricing, which UTech offers every day on computers and tablets, faculty and staff members will receive an additional 8 percent discount on all MacBook Pros, MacBooks, MacBook Airs, iMacs, and iPad Pros. On Nov. 14, patrons can save up to $550 on a new MacBook Pro, compared to what they would pay at other Apple retailers. When combined with University of Utah faculty and staff discounts on Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and accidental damage warranties, UTech can help university employees save more than $1,000 during the UTech One-Day Event.

Faculty and staff can also take advantage of the University Campus Store’s zero-interest payroll deduction and pay for their new Apple products over time. Those who participate in payroll deduction pay only $20 on Nov. 14, and the remaining balance is automatically deducted from their paycheck for up to 12 pay periods. A customer’s entire UTech purchase, not exceeding $2,000, can be paid through payroll deduction, so eligible faculty and staff are encouraged to take advantage of this added benefit.

University of Utah Health employees are invited to visit the University Campus Store Health in HSEB for this event, where the same suite of Apple products as the main University Campus Store are available. Apple-certified sales experts are also available in the HSEB location to help the University of Utah medical community take full advantage of the one-day event without having to come to lower campus. For those who do choose to visit lower Campus, please use the coupon code “UTECH1DAY” at the kiosk to avoid paying any parking fees.

The UTech One-Day Event is an in-store only promotion, but Apple products may be pre-ordered for University of Utah faculty, staff and alumni online.
