On Jan. 23, the Bennion Center will sponsor its annual day of service as part of Martin Luther King Jr. Week (MLK Week) at the U. Students, faculty and staff can sign up to be a part of several projects taking place from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. In addition, there are several online, virtual options available the week of Jan.18-23 that are open to all members of the university community and the community at large.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic precautions will be taken at all in-person service events. We will be working in small groups and requiring face coverings, sanitizing hands and physical distancing. Additionally, you will be asked to take a pre-project health assessment prior to showing up at the site of the project. Walk up or day or registration will not be permitted due to COVID-19 pandemic contact tracing protocols.
