Tuesday, March 22, is the Day of Collective Action here at the University of Utah. A dedicated time for reflection and action toward ensuring we are a truly inclusive community, we have worked to create over 20 events so that our community and leaders can address several of the issues our campus faces every day.
We encourage you to check out the Day of Collective Action website to see the events taking place all over campus and to note which require a reservation, like the Presidential Listening Sessions. A review of the day’s schedule highlights our efforts to both centers on an understanding of anti-Black racism and the work we must do as a campus, while also addressing a range of pressing issues facing our campus community.
Ultimately, the actions and decisions that result from this day will be shaped by the information and feedback received from you. This is a chance to have your voice be heard as we continue to work toward the inclusive culture we want to create at the U.
We look forward to seeing you there.
