Save the date for Employee Appreciation Day is Thursday, Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

The University of Utah excels at research, teaching, health care, community engagement, athletics and more. The U has risen to this level due to the excellence of staff and faculty.

All faculty and staff are invited to this day of fun and recognition. Be sure to mark the date on your calendar and please visit hr.utah.edu/employeeday for more information.

Stay tuned – more information for volunteer and exhibitor opportunities will be forthcoming. We look forward to seeing you there.

EAD 012Volunteers

EAD is made possible by our fabulous staff and faculty volunteers. Volunteering at EAD is a great way to meet people throughout the campus and to say thanks to your fellow staff members. Volunteers are asked to work in one to two hour shifts and will receive a pair of athletic tickets in appreciation. Please visit our volunteer registration site to register.

EAD Exhibitors

Maybe you know of a local business that would like to be at EAD as an exhibitor to market their product or service, or perhaps your department would like to reach out to University staff and faculty. If so, exhibitor applications are being accepted. You may apply on our exhibitor page. If you would like additional information, please contact Marcia Cook at 801- 581-6374 or marcia.cook@utah.edu.

Hooked on Books

Time to spring clean your bookshelves at home and bring in all your dusty books for the Hooked on Books annual book drive. Books collected will be given away to faculty and staff at Employee Appreciation Day. Collection boxes are located at the east and west entrances of the Marriott Library. Also look for drop off boxes at various locations across campus. Please visit the Hooked on Books website to learn more.
