All U students in the state are strongly to encouraged to sign up for a free COVID-19 test ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday. And students learning they have tested positive before the holiday season may experience a variety of emotions, especially since this means needing to quarantine and isolate to protect your loved ones. After-all the holidays have historically been a time to reconnect with family and friends in-person.
However, it is critical to abide by the public health guidelines and university directives to help slow the spread of COVID-19 among the U community and your loved ones. U students finding themselves in this position can stay connected and engaged during quarantine/isolation (Q/I) this holiday season with these ideas from Student Leadership & Involvement.
Answers to questions about the U’s COVID testing program can be found here.
