Announcing the creation of a Presidential Anti-Racism Task Force to work on developing and deploying actions on our campus that can increase dialogue and understanding among students, staff and faculty from different racial and ethnic backgrounds.

Jessica Dwyer, academic program manager at the Center for Science and Mathematics Education at the U, founded Dark Sky SLC, a nonprofit, to protect and preserve the night sky on a hyper-local level.
“The Power of Propaganda” theme for this year’s event commemorates the victims of the Holocaust, reflects on the historical actions leading to the Holocaust and pulls parallels to contemporary social issues.
